Paul Ebdale
Chief Executive Officer

Paul is a founding investor of Mitra Energy Limited and has over 25 years experience in the international oil & gas business. Following twelve years as an Explorationist at Conoco, he spent nine years at Amerada Hess, opening their Jakarta office and growing a successful Indonesian business before moving to Kuala Lumpur as Southeast Asia Exploration Manager. Paul has a proven track record in value creation through exploration, appraisal and innovative commercial negotiations.

Andy Scott
Chief Financial Officer

Andy holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University and has over 20 years of finance leadership and management experience from a 25 year career with Amerada Hess. His career with Hess included 10 years of working overseas in differing cultural and fiscal environments, including 6 years in SE Asia. Andy joined Mitra in October 2008 as CFO designate.

Ian Gray
Director, Chairman

Ian excelled in a number of international management positions over 25 years with Conoco, which culminated in the position of President of Dubai Petroleum. He joined Amerada Hess in 1995 as Vice President of International Exploration and Production until May 2000. In 1996 he became a non-executive director for Premier Oil as a Hess representative and latterly continued in this role as an independent director until July 2006.

Jerry Korpan
Director

Jerry Korpan has been an investment banker for 30 years financing natural resource projects world-wide. A Canadian, he has been based in London, UK since 1985. He is currently Executive Vice President and Director of Consolidated Puma Minerals and a past non-executive director of Bema Gold Corporation.

João Saraiva e Silva
Director

João is an investment professional with Och-Ziff Management Europe Limited. Within Och-Ziff, João is responsible for origination and execution of private equity investments across the energy and infrastructure sectors in Europe, Africa, Middle East, FSU and Asia/Pacific. Prior to this, he was an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs International in London, UK.

Arthur Jones
Company Secretary

Arthur is a chartered accountant based in Bermuda. From 1987 to the present, he has been with Consolidated Group of Companies which provides corporate and accounting services to clients in the oil & gas, shipping, hedge fund, and insurance industries and to high net worth individuals. He also serves on the board of a number of such companies. He became a principal shareholder of the Consolidated Group in 1996, and is currently CFO. He was appointed Company Secretary of Mitra Energy Limited in September 2006.
